Bruce Biddle is a New Zealand Cycling Legend. Bruce won the gold medal in the men's individual road race at the 1970 Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh, Scotland. Bruce represented New Zealand at the 1972 Olympics in Munich where he came fourth in the Men's Road Cycling Race. Jaime Huelamo form Spain came third, but was disqualified for failing a drug test, the bronze medal should have been awarded to Bruce but he was not awarded it because he had not been tested for drugs. Bruce turned professional in 1974 and raced with and against some of the giants of cycling. Bruce retired from cycling in1979. BLAIR STOCKWELL
Blair Stockwell MBE is a New Zealand Cycling Legend. Blair won three bronze medals representing New Zealand at the Commonwealth Games.
At the 1970 British Commonwealth Games he won the bronze medal in the men's individual pursuit over 4000 m. Four years later at the 1974 British Commonwealth Games in Christchurch he won a bronze riding as part of the team pursuit. At the following Games in Edmonton 1978 he came 30th in the men's road race. Blair won his third bronze at the 1982 Brisbane Games in the men's team time trial. He competed at the 1972 Summer Olympics in the men's team pursuit finishing in 14th position. Stockwell (1972, 1980 and 1984) and Jack Swart are the only cyclists to have won the Dulux North Island Tour three times. In the 1982 Queen's Birthday Honors Stockwell was appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire, for services to cycling. Jyrki Tavaila grew up in a family where activity and all kinds of sports were appreciated. There aren't that many sports he hasn't done or tried (running, skiing, tennis, soccer, Frisbee. Jyrki has worked almost 30 years in financial markets - he has a traditional academic background. Not surprisingly there came a period in life where it was more difficult to take time and care of himself. One January Jyrki was downhill skiing in the Alps with his friends. He realized how bad shape he had become and also gained weight. He was getting closer to 50 years of age. That was his turning point. RON KOSOR
Ron Kosor's journey started as a 2.5lb premature baby who struggled for survival from birth. I had to wear corrective shoes and braces on my legs as a child. The drive and determination I had to survive eventually drove me to be a 4 year letterman at Greensburg Central Catholic High school. Recruited by the majority of division one schools in the country I chose North Carolina as the college of my choice. I was a 4 year letterman and 3 year starter at Center for the mighty Wolfpack. My senior year in 1985 I was rated the number one center in the entire country by the two top NFL scouting combines National and Blesto. I signed a 3 year contract with the New England Patriots that ended the first year due to an injury. This was followed by a 3 year contract with the Detroit lions. In 1987-88 seasons at the Detroit Lions I had a career ending injury. I tore the triceps of off my right arm and needed immediate emergency surgery to repair it. The surgery was successful but I had to accept a settlement and step out of the NFL for good. I was unaware of the damage that my body took until I basically began to fall apart at the age of 52. I slowly began to notice my vision was failing me so I got several pairs of those cheater glasses. Sorry to say none of them worked. I struggled with this for 6 months in 2014. In December of 2014 I was in the basement of the church I pastor with my wife and I casually closed my left eye, and immediately I noticed I could not see out of my right eye. It actually looked like I was trying to see through a glass that was full of water. After the initial shock my wife decided to get me in to see a local eye doctor. He did an eye exam, ran some tests and decided I needed to see an eye specialist. We followed his advice and went to an optometrist who advised be that I had a bad retinal occlusion. In layman's terms I had a stroke or explosion in my right eye, therefore causing me to lose my vision. His solution was surprisingly shocking to me. He pulled a needle out of the drawer and said he could insert the needle into my eye, inject it with a colon cancer drug and hopefully it would dry up the fluid in my eye. The first shot was one of the worse experiences of my entire life, for 7 full days I was locked in my bedroom in excruciating pain, pain like I have never seen or felt before. It felt like someone stuck an ice pick in my head for 7 days. My next doctor's appointment was bitter and sweet. He said he had good and bad news. The good news was that my body accepted the medication; the bad news is it often only works for two weeks. I also called my insurance company and the insurance only covered the shot once a month. So for the next 14 months I had to go to the eye specialist and get a needle jammed into my right eye the first Monday of every month. These 14 months were some of the toughest in my entire life. I also twisted my right knee and found out that I had little to no cartilage left in my right knee and was looking at a knee replacement. Words cannot express the pain and suffering I felt over this period of 14 months. I was also being treated for severe back pain for 16 years. I had inflammation between by l4 and l5 vertebra. I was looking at possibly losing my driver's license, going blind, dealing with terrible back issues and having a knee replacement. All I could hang onto was the Faith I had in Jehovah, my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. My wife saw Noel Turner the founder of FREZZOR on the One on One show with Damon Davis. She called me into the room and I felt the anointing and passion of Noel Turner, the King of New Zealand, had for Jesus and the people of God. He shared that passion and I heard him speaking of the testimonies of the people the FREZZOR products helped. They mentioned how FREZZOR helped people who wanted to lose weight, fight diabetes, eye issues, macular degeneration, arthritis, neck, back, hip, and knee pain. I was all in; I had to try the products. Honestly, I cancelled the auto shipment payments that my wife had set up. Don Reed is a former alcoholic and compulsive gambler who met Jesus face to face in November 1974. He had established a successful accounting firm and ran a $300,000 motel, but his lust for alcohol and gambling destroyed them both. He owed 30 financial institutions plus 40 creditors and did not declare bankruptcy and in 1985 finished paying all creditors.
Now, he is an IRS Enrolled Agent and has established Reed & Reed Associates, Inc., a tax accounting services with 20 employees, 2 CPA's and over 2800 tax clients and 100 corporate clients. He founded Crossing Paths TV, which is now on many local cable companies. He is the author of "Now I Bet On You Lord," Crossing Paths edition and hosts tours to Israel. Sim Pan is a Taekwondo (Korean Martial Art) Instructor with an 8th Dan from the Kukkiwon (World Taekwondo Headquarters) and a 9th Dan from the Chang Moo Kwan (one of the founding associations of the Kukkiwon). He is a national champion of Malaysia (2013 & 2014) in Poomsae (pattern) and had represented his country in three World Championships previously. Gary Anderson is a New Zealand Cycling Legend. Wanganui-based Gary Anderson helped create a track cycling legacy in New Zealand which is only now starting to be fully recognised. During a brilliant career he won three gold medals at the Auckland Commonwealth Games - in the individual pursuit, team pursuit and 10-mile scratch race. He also won silver in the 1000m time trial. Craig Adair is a New Zealand Cycling Legend. Adair was born in Christchurch in 1963. Under the guidance of Wayne Thorpe, Craig represented New Zealand at the 1982 Commonwealth Games in Brisbane. DANNY CLARK
Danny Clark is an Australian Cycling Legend. Danny was a professional rider from 1974 to 1997. He won five world championships and at the 1972 Olympics in Munich came second in the 1,000m time trial. Clark was often fastest finishing rider in six-day races during the mid-1970s. Clark and the British rider Tony Doyle won many six-day races. Danny began cycling on a bike borrowed from a local enthusiast, which he used for three months before acquiring his eldest brother's semi-racer. He became one of the most successful riders in six-day racing in the 1970s and 1980s, winning 74 races, second to Patrick Sercu's 88. Most of these wins came after a crash in the 1983 Frankfurt six-day which broke his hip. Clark still carries a plate inserted to help the fracture heal and said that when sprinting or climbing, only his right leg delivered full power. Clark won the Australian one-mile penny-farthing championship in Evandale, Tasmania, in 1989, beating the Briton Doug Pinkerton and Matthew Driver. Danny lives in Surfers Paradise, near Brisbane. Danny and his beautiful Italian wife Sabina have become leading FREZZOR Revolutionists in Australia and Italy.
